What sets me apart: What I bring to the ‘table’ is my track record of successful engagement at different levels of organizations, including C-level, Engineers, and other managers.
I have assumed a team-leader role on multiple occasions successfully leading multiple teams (in some cases, virtual teams) comprising more than 20 people at different times
An engagement strategist, I have successfully designed different methods of engagement at different levels of the C-suite to drive home the right message at all levels to ensure successful sales.
I boast of a track record of sharing knowledge at an outstanding rate in my career and also hold a record for training and mentoring new employees.
I have the ability to work effectively with virtual teams, to provide top-notch solutions to my Customers - the result of working with different engineers and subject matter experts with different cultural backgrounds and all in different geographical locations.
Multitasking ability: I am Creative and Innovative and boast of a record of using innovative ways to sell 8 features to MTN Nigeria even before this method of selling features became part of the engagement process at Ericsson.
I multitask by first creating 4 quadrants with "value" on the verticals and "urgency" on the horizontals. After consultations with all or most key stakeholders, I group all tasks into the 4 quadrants. The tasks that make it into the high value, high urgency quadrant are of the topmost priority. THs is then communicated effectively to the key stakeholders. As and when new tasks arise, I assess them and communicate as needed.
In multitasking, I always strive to plan well ahead (resources to support with the tasks or lead the tasks, whether some tasks can be grouped together, or they go through some sequence), align all the tasks (if high value, high urgency) to the goals of the organization as part of the plan. For tasks that require a lot of attention, I like to have a full focus- which means working on them in my quiet time (from 6pm to 8 pm). If there is a need to share part of the task with other resources, I would quickly identify those individual activities and their expected results and share them with action points and timelines to follow up. Building and maintaining relationships: In building relationships, I utilize a more professional approach. This is to earn some “credit in the bank” with colleagues, clients, and vendors. Earning credits is a long term effort and may even stem from a simple “happy birthday” wish to going out of my scope of work to handle a task for this colleague, client or vendor depending on the situation. My principle is to make this as professional as possible and as ethically accepted as possible.
